When I turned 21, a very close friend named a star “Miriam’s Wish” for my birthday. For those astronomers out there, it is listed in the Universal Star Listing and it has the following Coordinates: Gemini 8h00m12s +32o46’43”. If you are brainy enough to find it on a clear star-lit night, be sure to give me a shout – I have trouble finding my bearings on earth, so the galaxy is a wee step too far!
I was so touched by the gift and so that’s where the name Miriam’s Wish came from.
