Julie is originally from Belfast and studied in Northern Ireland, where she graduated with Degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery.
She takes her inspiration for her wire woven jewellery from Nature, where she uses Minerals, Fossils and Gemstones another passion of hers. Each creation that is made is bespoke, unique and is created using Traditional techniques, which a lot of jewellery makers are losing, due to mass produced items, as well as that personnel touch and connection.
Using Silver, Copper, Bronze or Steel wires are twisted, hammered, plaited and woven, making an exquisite, intricate setting for the beautiful gemstones, fossils & crystals.
