In the midst of the pandemic, when many businesses were struggling to stay afloat, Joanne McCoy took a leap of faith and began her resin business, CJ Creations.
But her story isn't just about entrepreneurship; it's a tale of love, resilience, and the unbreakable bond within a family. Joanne's decision to start her business coincided with becoming the primary caregiver for her autistic son, Caolan, who was unable to work due to the lockdowns. They got a Polytunnel to help grow more and different flowers and Caolan’s love grew, now he oversees planting, watering, and looking after all the flowers in the garden To preserve the delicate beauty of the blooms, she relied on a traditional flower press, specially made for her by her father. Little did she know that this venture would not only provide an avenue for her creativity but also become a means for Caolan to express his passion and find purpose. |
